Job summary

Salem One is seeking an HP Digital Press Operator in Concord, NC to operate and maintain HP Indigo presses, ensuring quality and efficiency.

You will load materials, perform make-ready, run jobs, calibrate colors, and troubleshoot issues while coordinating with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain safety standards. The role requires a strong eye for detail, problem-solving, and inventory documentation, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating HP digital presses (HP Indigo 15k, 7000, or 6900).
• Strong knowledge of digital printing, color management, and file handling.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Must work 40 hours per week; overtime as needed.
• HP advanced training preferred (Level 1 or 2).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HP digital presses, including Indigo 15k, 7000 and 6900.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure uptime and quality.
• Monitor print jobs for consistency and quality; adjust as needed.
• Load paper, make ready, and run jobs ensuring proper preparation.
• Perform color calibration and image quality checks.
• Collaborate with production to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track inventory and manage supplies.
• Ensure safety protocols and maintain clean work area.
• Document and report equipment issues.
