Job summary

GDH is seeking a senior wireless architect to design, implement, and optimize advanced wireless systems onsite in Houston, TX. You will lead RF planning, spectrum management and integration of private 5G, CBRS, DAS, Wi‑Fi and IoT networks for client projects on a 3–6 month contract.

The role requires strategic thinking, cross‑functional leadership, and a strong background in security compliance and network optimization. Onsite presence in Houston is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in IT or related fields focusing on wireless networks.
• Proficient in wireless protocols (LTE, NR, IEEE 802.11) and network design tools.
• Strong RF and spectrum management skills and topology design.

Responsibilities

• Develop wireless architecture strategies including private 5G, CBRS, DAS, RAN, Wi‑Fi and IoT networks.
• Analyze client requirements to tailor wireless infrastructure solutions.
• Evaluate new wireless technologies and integration approaches.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors and stakeholders to align solutions with objectives.
• Oversee network security protocols and ensure compliance with standards.
• Optimize network performance via RF planning, spectrum management and topology design.
• Lead planning and execution of wireless infrastructure projects and roadmaps.
• Prepare technical docs, integration plans and performance optimization strategies.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends to inform strategic planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
