Job summary

Citi’s Commercial Bank is seeking Summer Analysts for the Natural Resources team in Houston. You will work with Relationship Managers across oil & gas, energy transition, and power sectors, gaining exposure to Citi’s lending, cash management, and capital markets solutions.

You will learn underwriting, client coverage, and the end-to-end credit process through hands-on experience and mentorship from professionals across the firm.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Finance or Accounting; expected graduation winter 2027 or spring 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company research and industry analysis.
• Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling.
• Support the commercial lending process across secured/unsecured lines and various loan types.
• Collaborate with Bankers and Product teams to tailor Citi solutions for clients.
• Create client-facing presentations, pitch books, and memos.
• Interact with partners across the firm including risk, legal, and technology.
