Job summary

Citi’s Summer Analyst program in Houston offers hands-on experience across the Natural Resources team within Commercial Banking. You’ll rotate through training, mentorship, and live deal work, gaining exposure to credit products, underwriting, and client interactions.

You’ll develop financial modeling, research, and presentation skills while working with Relationship Managers to serve a portfolio of clients in a global network.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Finance or Accounting, or related experience.
• GPA 3.5+ preferred and expected graduation winter 2027 or spring 2028.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company research and industry analysis.
• Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling (valuations, DCF, pro-forma).
• Support the commercial lending process (credit facilities, syndications).
• Assist in deal management and client presentation preparation (pitch books, memos).
• Collaborate with product, credit, risk, and technology teams across Citi.
• Engage with clients and centers of influence to understand needs.
