Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Houston is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Natural Resources & Energy team for a 10-week program starting in June 2027. You will work on a portfolio of oil & gas, energy transition, and power/utility clients, learning credit underwriting, loan structuring, and cross-border financing within Citi’s Commercial Banking framework.

You will gain hands-on experience with financial modeling, client engagement, and collaboration with product, risk, and legal teams, while

Qualifications

Majoring in Finance or Accounting or related experience in Financial Services.
On track to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in winter 2027 or spring 2028.
Preferred GPA 3.5 or above.

Responsibilities

Conduct company research and industry analysis.
Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling including DCF and pro-forma analyses.
Support the commercial lending process with secured/unsecured lines and term loans.
Assist in deal management and client presentations (pitch books, memos).
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional partners across the firm.
Learn Citi credit policies and regulatory procedures and participate in client servicing.
