Job summary

Citi is seeking a Summer Analyst for the Natural Resources team in Houston. The 10-week program starts in June with intensive training and hands-on experience across sales, credit, product, technology, and professional development.

You will work with Relationship Managers on a client portfolio, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of Citi’s banking solutions. You will analyze markets and financials, participate in deal due diligence, and contribute to client presentations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• No sponsorship required for U.S. work authorization now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Conduct company research and industry analysis.
• Analyze financial data and perform financial modeling (valuation, DCF, pro-forma).
• Support the commercial lending process (secured and unsecured lines, loans).
• Own the client experience, partnering with bankers and product teams to tailor Citi solutions.
• Prepare deal materials, presentations, memos for clients and prospects.
• Collaborate with partners across the firm (risk, legal, marketing, technology).
