Job summary

Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 12-week program in Downtown Houston, running May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027. The internship supports design, development, and optimization of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects across the United States.

You will gain hands-on experience with power systems analysis, project documentation, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in a global energy company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with electrical power systems and renewable energy concepts.
• Experience with engineering software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and execution of renewable energy projects.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and design packages.
• Perform power system calculations and analyses.
• Develop single-line diagrams, layouts, and cable schedules.
• Support commissioning, testing, and startup activities.
• Prepare technical reports and project updates.
