Job summary

Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) seeks a Construction Management Intern to support field activities on utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects across the United States. The 12-week internship runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with assignments to active project sites and extensive travel.

Interns will work alongside project managers, construction managers, contractors, and field personnel, gaining hands-on experience in construction execution and documentation

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa.
• Enrolled in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CM, Civil Eng, Construction Eng, Mech Eng, Electrical Eng, or related field.
• Strong interest in utility-scale renewable energy construction and project management.
• Ability to work in an active construction environment and comply with all site safety requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Managers and Project Managers with daily field construction activities on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Assist with monitoring project progress, schedules, budgets, and contractor performance.
• Participate in site inspections to verify construction activities are completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Assist with tracking project milestones, punch list items, material deliveries, and construction documentation.
• Attend daily, weekly, and monthly construction meetings and prepare meeting notes and action item logs.
• Support contractor coordination and communication between construction, engineering, procurement, environmental, and operations teams.
• Assist with the review of project drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction reports.
• Help maintain project records including RFIs, submittals, change orders, field reports, and quality documentation.
• Participate in safety observations and support implementation of site safety programs and initiatives.
• Analyze construction data and prepare project status reports for management.
• Perform assigned construction oversight activities under the supervision of project and construction management personnel.
• Support project closeout activities, turnover documentation, and lessons learned reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
