Job summary

Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) is seeking an Energy Assessment Intern to join our growing team in Downtown Houston. The 12-week program runs May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with potential travel to project sites.

You will support evaluation, modeling, and optimization of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the United States. Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering or related fields, with strong data analytics,

Qualifications

Enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
Interest in renewable energy and energy resource assessment.
Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

Assist Energy Assessment team with evaluating solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects at various stages.
Support analysis of meteorological, solar irradiance, wind resource, and production data.
Assist with energy yield assessments and performance forecasting.
Analyze project performance metrics and identify trends and optimization opportunities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project evaluations.
