Job summary

Bunker One in Houston, part of Bunker Holding, seeks an Oil Derivatives Trader to join our global trading desk. Based in Houston, you will work with physical trading and sales to trade oil products, biofuels, carbon, power and gas, and to hedge derivatives exposure.

You should have 2-3 years of fuel or distillate derivatives trading with P&L responsibility and a disciplined approach to risk. Relocation to Houston and US work permissions are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience trading with fuel or distillate derivatives, with a P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Implement effective derivatives pricing and hedging strategies to optimize physical exposures and drive growth.
• Develop and execute profitable trading strategies while managing position size and risk.
• Carry out daily desk tasks, mark forward curves, and provide market updates to traders and sales staff.
• Share market intelligence and contribute to the trading desk's strategic direction.
• Assist in risk management of global trading books during US hours.
