Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in Houston, TX. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide customer service while maintaining a visible security presence at a manufacturing and industrial location.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work nights on a fixed MON-Fri schedule; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain controlled entry to authorized areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
