W3Global, a Houston-based boutique litigation firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its team. The role emphasizes handling sophisticated disputes, performing legal research, drafting pleadings, and guiding case strategy under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., Texas license or eligibility, 2–4 years of Texas litigation experience, and strong writing and analytical skills. This on-site position offers collaboration with partners and staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas, or eligibility for admission.
• 2–4 years of litigation experience in Texas.
• Experience billing time per defense guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, statutes and rules.
• Excellent legal research and writing with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Assist development and execution of litigation strategies from inception through resolution.
• Participate in client meetings and provide guidance under supervision.
• Support settlement negotiations and ADR efforts.
• Prepare cases for hearings, depositions, mediations and trial.
• Manage case files, deadlines and court rules compliance.
• Collaborate with partners and staff to deliver client service.
