Job summary
Westway Feed Products in Houston is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our bulk liquid feed facility, focusing on safety, efficiency and profitability while meeting customer needs. You will supervise production, coordinate receiving and logistics, drive continuous improvement, and manage budgeting, staffing and compliance with company policies.
This role offers exposure to regional and global projects within ED&F Man and Hartree Partners network.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in agriculture, bulk liquids, chemicals, fertilizers, terminal operations or food manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- Experience with bulk liquid handling including truck, shipping and rail.
- Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, reporting and staffing.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise the plant employees and administrative staff.
- Coordinate production, goods receiving and logistics to fulfill orders.
- Recommend improvements to enhance plant efficiency and safety.
- Plan and coordinate customer service activities for the plant.
- Enforce policies to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
