Noor Group seeks a VP/Director of Land Acquisition to lead sourcing, underwriting, and closing of residential land opportunities in the Houston metro. You will drive strategy, manage a robust acquisition pipeline, and collaborate with legal, development, and executive teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in land acquisition, deep Houston market knowledge, and proven deal-closure ability, with strong financial modeling and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in land acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of the Houston residential real estate market and local growth corridors.
• Proven experience sourcing deals, underwriting land, negotiating transactions, and closing acquisitions.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead land acquisition strategy to support the company’s residential development pipeline.
• Identify and source land opportunities through brokers, landowners, developers, and industry relationships.
• Evaluate potential acquisitions through financial analysis, market research, feasibility studies, and due diligence.
• Negotiate purchase agreements and manage transactions from initial offer through closing.
• Coordinate with legal, engineering, land development, and other internal and external partners.
• Analyze market trends, land values, zoning, entitlements, and development potential.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, municipalities, and industry professionals.
• Manage the acquisition pipeline and present investment opportunities and recommendations to executive leadership.
