Job summary

Trillium Drivers in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to coordinate daily routes for a small fleet of five trucks, ensuring on-time deliveries and strong communication with drivers and customers. The role pays $22-$25 per hour, DOE, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6am to 3pm.

The Dispatcher works closely with Shipping and Warehouse teams, maintains delivery logs, and supports efficient operations and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of dispatching, logistics, or transportation experience preferred.
• Clean background and ability to pass a drug test.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with route-planning tools or GPS tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch routes for a fleet of 5 trucks.
• Monitor driver locations and progress using tracking systems.
• Communicate route changes and delays to drivers in real time.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Shipping to load, prioritize shipments, and schedule deliveries.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, driver assignments, and dispatch activity.
• Provide proactive updates to customers regarding delivery windows and changes.
• Ensure delivery documentation is complete and accurate.
