Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging in Houston, TX seeks an experienced crane mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic mobile cranes including various terrain models. The role requires hands-on electrical and hydraulic systems expertise, reading manuals, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work independently, perform tests to OEM specs, and lift over 40 lbs. A high school diploma and 3+ years of crane experience are required; a TWIC card or the ability to obtain one is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of crane mechanic experience in automotive, trucking, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and understand manuals and technical drawings.
• Must work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic mobile cranes (all terrain, rough terrain, and boom trucks).
• Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic systems after repairs to OEM specs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Observe safety requirements and maintain equipment accordingly.
• Possess valid driver’s license with clean record and TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
• Safely lift over 40 lbs.
