Qualifications
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Construction Management or Construction Science.
2-3 Years verifiable experience working for a commercial contractor as an Estimator.
2+ year average tenure at each past place of employment.
Responsibilities
Preparation of Spec Section Matrix.
Review of Subcontractor Call List.
Recruitment of Sub/Vendor Bidders.
Quantity takeoff for all trades.
Project specific scope for all trades and Tabsheets.
Preparation of Google Sheet Sum Form.
Bid Day Room setup.
Tabulate portion of trades on Bid Day.
Preparation of Project-specific Bid Tabs to publish bidders.
Attend Pre-Bid Conference.
Participation in Bid Day prep and presentation to Owner.
Scope verification conversations with Bidders post-Bid Day.
Compilation of all portions final GMP pricing booklet.
Coordination with Field Ops to present the GMP to the Owner.
Final turnover of Field Ops for construction.
