Pogue Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead daily oversight of multi‑year construction initiatives from North Texas to Houston. You will drive pre‑construction activities, manage budgets, and track costs while coordinating with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in Construction Science or equivalent experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to keep projects on schedule and within approved profits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction Science or commensurate experience.
• Experience overseeing construction projects and managing budgets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily project oversight and ensure timely completion.
• Participate in pre-construction activities and bid reviews.
• Monitor progress, subcontractor performance, and project costs.
• Review RFIs and submittals with Asst. PM.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers; prepare monthly billings.
• Lead owner/architect/contractor meetings and schedule.
• Review schedule and pay applications with superintendent.
• Oversee project closeout and milestone tracking.
• Support training for junior staff as assigned.
• Maintain contracts with owners and subcontractors.
