Job summary

RoadCore Logistics is hiring CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal position based in Houston, TX. This home-daily role features no-touch freight and operates within Houston rail yards, with day and night shifts available and consistent local freight.

Earn between $1,000 and $1,100 weekly, with paid orientation and weekend/night shift incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, disability and life insurance, and a supportive dispatch

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 3–6 months CDL-A experience is required.
• Must pass DOT drug screening and meet FMCSA safety requirements.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and be comfortable with 12-hour shifts.
• Intermodal or rail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal freight in the Houston area.
• Work 12-hour shifts with home daily schedule.
• Handle drop & hook, live load, and live unload freight.
• Utilize local rail yards for inbound/outbound moves.
