Job summary

Accent IT is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for Houston, TX. The role offers daily home time with a static schedule and two consecutive days off each week, plus day or night shifts.

You will work on local intermodal rail operations, moving freight in and out of rail facilities from the Houston area. Typical workdays run about 12 hours, with schedules of Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday and possible extra work as needed based on freight and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Intermodal equipment operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal rail operations.
• Move freight in/out of rail facilities.
• Drop-and-hook, live-load, live-unload, and preloaded freight.
• Work with rail equipment and intermodal containers.
