Job summary

Quarterback Transportation seeks a Branch Sales Manager in Houston to lead a high-performing sales team across multiple services, drive revenue growth, and oversee daily branch operations. Based in Houston, you will report to the EVP and shape local sales strategy while ensuring exceptional customer experience.

You will coach Account Managers, manage RFPs and pricing, maintain CRM pipeline, collaborate with operations, and guide market entry for the new Houston branch from launch to stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in sales.
• Strong knowledge of North American transportation markets.
• Experience launching or scaling a new market or branch.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to handle ambiguity.
• Experience in freight brokerage or 3PL environments preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a Houston-based team of Account Managers to achieve targets.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategy across multiple service lines.
• Manage RFPs, mini-bids, and pricing to protect gross margin.
• Maintain a healthy CRM pipeline and performance metrics.
