Job summary

Matchtech North America is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Houston to deliver Transmission & Distribution EPC projects from pre-construction through commissioning, closeout and warranty. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage safety, schedule, cost and quality, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires 7+ years of PM experience in construction, a related bachelor's degree, and solid knowledge of project controls, contracts and risk management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering or related.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, contract administration, project controls and risk management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driving licence.
• Experience with project controls, scheduling and cost management software.
• Previous experience on large-scale EPC projects.
• Experience within Transmission & Distribution, Energy, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Water or Transportation sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPC projects through the full project lifecycle from planning and construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Manage project safety, quality, schedule, cost and overall project performance.
• Develop project execution strategies, construction plans and resource plans.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, procurement activities, change orders and commercial risk.
• Oversee project controls, including budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and schedule management.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning and field operations teams.
• Manage project staffing, workforce planning and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and company requirements.
• Lead project reporting, audits, turnover and warranty activities.
