Job summary

TIC Solutions is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel in Houston to provide broad legal support for corporate, commercial, and operational matters. You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, advise on legal risks, and contribute to governance and compliance programs across the organization.

You will collaborate with Legal, Operations, QHSE, HR, Procurement, Real Estate, Finance, and senior leadership to deliver practical guidance while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2-4 years of legal experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm supporting commercial clients.
• Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft O365, specifically SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer, supplier, and other commercial agreements while providing oversight and guidance to non-attorney members of the Contracts Review Team.
• Provide legal guidance and support for commercial transactions and business initiatives.
• Support senior members of the Legal Department in assisting with dispute resolution, including evaluating legal issues, responding to discovery, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel as needed. Previous litigation experience (including through internships) is a plus.
• Develop, support, and deliver legal, contractual, and compliance programs and related training across the organization.
• Present legal topics to employees, management, and leadership in a clear and practical manner.
