Job summary

TIC Solutions in Houston (Galleria) seeks an Associate Corporate Counsel to provide broad corporate, commercial, and operational legal support. The role drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial agreements, advises on legal risk, and supports compliance initiatives, working with Legal, Operations, QHSE, HR, Procurement, Real Estate, Tax, Finance, and Leadership.

Candidates will have JD, active license, 2–4 years of related experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm serving commercial

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
Minimum 2–4 years of corporate or commercial practice.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
Knowledge of government contracting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements while guiding non-attorneys.
Provide legal guidance for commercial transactions and business initiatives.
Support dispute resolution and coordinate with stakeholders and outside counsel.
Develop and deliver legal and compliance programs and training.
Present legal topics to employees and leadership.
Partner with departments to identify legal risks and develop solutions.
Support corporate governance and policy development.
Identify opportunities to improve legal processes.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
Stay current on legal and regulatory developments.
