Job summary

Kentucky River Community Care is seeking a Tenancy Supports Specialist/Outreach Worker 2/Life Skills Coach to help participants secure and sustain housing under the Kentucky 1915(i) RISE Initiative. You will promote independence, recovery, and community integration through tenant education and ongoing support.

The role focuses on leasing, landlord mediation, eviction prevention, and coordination with housing authorities to access stable housing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in housing support, case management, or behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in identifying, securing, and maintaining safe and affordable housing.
• Provide tenancy support services including lease negotiation, landlord mediation, and eviction prevention.
• Educate participants on tenant rights and responsibilities.
• Coordinate with housing authorities, landlords, and community partners to facilitate housing access.
• Support participants in developing skills for independent living (e.g., budgeting, hygiene, home maintenance).
• Conduct regular home visits to assess housing stability and provide ongoing support.
