Job summary

Home Group Limited seeks a Community Housing Assistant to help Housing Managers deliver housing management services across our communities. You will provide a proactive, customer-focused service, guiding customers to sustain their tenancies and resolve issues early.

You’ll support neighbourhood management, manage records, and coordinate mutual exchanges while ensuring safeguarding and compliance are observed and reported as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in housing management, customer services, or related environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of tenancy sustainment and safeguarding principles.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support customers to sustain tenancies through regular contact and practical assistance.
• Deliver neighbourhood and community management services and monitor cases for escalation.
• Manage voids and lettings administration, and maintain trackers and systems.
• Coordinate mutual exchanges and liaise with customers, colleagues and partners.
• Support compliance and safeguarding concerns and arrange customer appointments.
