The Providence Center Housing Stabilization Manager provides TPC Housing Stabilization services to participants. Complete filing, documentation preparation and use/development of spreadsheets in Excel part of daily work. Date entry and management for Medicaid portal for billing, verify insurance coverage, opening participants in EPIC, and coordinate referrals for supportive services. Provide supervision and managerial oversight to Housing Stabilization staff; hire and train new Housing Stabilization employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of duties to support consumers and to staff in the department:

Open Housing Stabilization episodes in Epic to ensure participants have a medical record number to complete documentation of services provided.

Provide supervision and oversight to Housing Stabilization Case Managers; oversee caseloads, team role responsibilities, productivity hours, and manage data needed for EOHHS reporting.

Collaborate with EOHHS to complete Prior Authorizations every 6 months; work with EOHHS to ensure any billing discrepancies are addressed and resolved. Attend monthly meetings with EOHHS.

Carry a caseload, complete intakes, treatment plans, and housing stabilization support for identified individuals.

Filing and file maintenance for Housing Stabilization program, copying of forms- keeping forms up to date.

Update census and track hours of service for each participant.

Complete quick notes for any services provided directly to tenants or on behalf of tenants.

Follow up with outside providers of program participants to track engagement in services. Make sure releases are completed and valid for all participants.

Collaborate with Rhode Island Housing to ensure referred CoC recipients are offered and connected to housing stabilization services, if willing.

Schedule intakes for new participants for Housing Stabilization services at TPC. Also assist with referral to outside agencies for other services as needed to meet the needs of program participant

Communicate with clinical team with any engagement or insurance-related barriers.

Maintain full-time hours and participate in all manager required trainings and meetings.

Represent the Housing Stabilization Dept. in internal and external meetings to help champion the program mission to others.

Assign Housing Stabilization staff to be designated to specific outpatient teams for adjunct housing support.

Perform tasks to support the department:

Type correspondence, forms, contracts, reports, and other materials as delegated, to include various housing documents.

Type/ prepare documents as needed for the staff in the department.

Ensure typed documents are accurate, in proper format and completed by deadline.

Copy, scan and fax materials as needed. File charts, notes, etc.

Provide supervision to all Housing Stabilization staff

Complete annual appraisals of Housing Stabilization staff

Address any performance/ role concerns.

Maintain cooperative relationships with other employees, consumers and the public.

Treat consumers and peers with respect.

Work in cooperation with co-workers and supervisory staff.

Deal with co-workers regarding problems in a constructive manner.

Accept and use direction and supervision.

Benefit from constructive criticism.

Ensure no complaints received by peers, supervisors and the public.

Attend trainings and conferences, participate on Center committees.

Provide feedback to staff on the content of educational programs attended.

Attend mandatory in-service trainings and other trainings required.

Assist housing stabilization staff as needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services or similar field.

Good organizational skills a must.

Must be able to work with a diverse population and be comfortable interacting with our clients and outside agencies.

Strong computer skills are required, including knowledge of Excel to create spreadsheets with the use formulas.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to consumers and employees.
