Job summary

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. is seeking a Social Worker to serve at-risk individuals and homeless clients through comprehensive case management and advocacy.

Under supervision, you will perform intake, assessment, crisis intervention, and coordination of housing and financial assistance, while supervising interns and collaborating with community partners across the five boroughs. Flexibility for weekends/evenings may be required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's in social work from an accredited program.
• Experience supervising interns is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, intake, and eligibility assessment for HomeBase participants.
• Conduct crisis intervention and information and referral.
• Maintain case records and ensure timely documentation.
• Advocate and arrange housing support and financial assistance as needed.
• Supervise bachelor and master level interns.
