Job summary

Muskegon County is seeking a Housing Case Manager to provide and arrange comprehensive housing-related services for individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a human service field or eligible to graduate within 90 days with transcript
• One year of experience providing supports/services to persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
• Reliable transportation to perform job duties and travel within the County

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and coordinate housing-related services and supports for individuals
• Identify housing needs and barriers and locate appropriate housing opportunities
• Coordinate, monitor, and advocate for housing stability and tenancy support
• Provide housing-related education, crisis intervention, and on-call assistance as assigned
