Job summary

Old Colony YMCA's Housing team in Brockton is looking for a dedicated Housing Specialist to support residents on-site across our Brockton area locations. You will review residents' needs to link community programs and coordinate services, lead multidisciplinary assessment meetings, and facilitate care conferences with residents and families.

The role also involves planning social, educational, and recreational activities and distributing a newsletter to keep residents informed.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping others and desire to make a difference.
• Adaptability to changing consumer/program needs.
• At least two years of experience in the human services field, preferably with the elder population.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bilingual a plus; Cantonese, Haitian Creole or Cape Verde Creole is preferred.

We are expanding to 11 more towns covering the South Shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, etc.
