Qualifications

• Associate's degree or related college coursework in social services, social work, or closely related field, or an equivalency
• Three years of related housing management or social services experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with conflict resolution is critical for the successful performance of this work

Responsibilities

• Applies and monitors compliance with program regulations and related duties (case files, notices, vacation).
• Assists with technical financial duties: determining monthly rental payments, collections, tracking payments and deposits, training on basic financial management.
• Prepares and maintains a variety of operational records and reports.
• Provides client referrals related to domestic issues as necessary.
• Accepts, processes, and reviews applications for participation in housing programs; runs background checks and performs related duties.
• Assists tenants in educating and guiding housing applicants, including assisting with applications/forms, responding to inquiries, arranging site visits, and providing referrals.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
