Job summary

North East Kingdom Community Action is seeking a Navigator II for the Housing and Homelessness Program. You will help participants access housing supports, complete benefit applications, and coordinate with partners to secure housing stability.

In this role you will enter data into the HMIS system, conduct outreach, attend meetings, and support participants through rapid rehousing efforts. Equal opportunity employer; travel to participant homes is required.

Qualifications

• BA preferred; 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of HMIS data systems and GoEngage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake per requirements; verify income per guidelines.
• Enter and maintain data in the HMIS database accurately.
• Coordinate with housing partners to assist participants.
• Assist in developing housing stability plans and coordinating services.
• Travel to participant homes as required.
