Job summary

YWCA Lancaster is seeking a Full-Time Housing Services Coordinator in Lancaster, PA to support intake, leases, and case management. You will coordinate move-ins/move-outs, maintain tenant files, and collaborate with landlords and community partners to expand housing opportunities.

Applicants should have a related degree and at least 2 years of housing services experience, with strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or health-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in housing services, property management, social services, administrative support, or related field.
• Experience with unhoused or under-housed populations; knowledge of local services preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Manage housing waitlists and respond to inquiries from prospective residents and partners.
• Screen applicants and guide documentation from initial inquiry through move-in.
• Prepare, process, and maintain leases and occupancy documents; monitor renewals.
• Enter and maintain resident data; conduct file audits for compliance.
• Develop landlord relationships and coordinate housing referrals with service providers.
• Provide admin support and participate in required trainings and on-call duties.
