Location: Enfield | Reference: SCS1008 | Job Type: Permanent – Full Time | Start Date: ASAP | Salary: £55,542 – £70,452 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Housing Repairs Operations Manager to lead and drive excellence across responsive repairs services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving service delivery following the Council’s C1 rating from the Regulator of Social Housing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage responsive repairs and maintenance services


• Implement service improvement plans to enhance performance and delivery


• Manage budgets, resources, and contract performance effectively


• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to technical teams


• Work collaboratively with contractors, stakeholders, and internal departments


• Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements


• Build strong relationships with residents, community groups, and partners

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance service management


• Proven experience managing high-value responsive repairs contracts


• Experience leading and motivating technical or trade-based teams


• Strong budget management and performance monitoring experience


• Knowledge of relevant housing, landlord, and safety regulations


• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
