Job summary

ALLENDALE COUNTY ALIVE in Allendale, SC is seeking a Housing Manager to coordinate housing rehabilitation, self-help housing, and community development activities. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, funding agencies, and community partners to ensure compliance and successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience in housing, grant administration, project management, case management, or community development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of housing rehabilitation and self-help housing programs.
• Review client applications and determine program eligibility.
• Coordinate inspections, contractor activities, and project schedules.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain compliance with USDA, state, and local program regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Conduct outreach and educational workshops throughout the service area.
• Develop relationships with local governments, lenders, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate client and project files.
• Assist with grant administration and program development activities.
