Job summary

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRISIS CENTER is seeking a Housing Coordinator to provide administrative and program support for the Housing Advocacy team in a trauma-informed setting. You will manage documentation, scheduling, client outreach, and logistical tasks to alleviate burdens on Housing Advocates, helping survivors access safe housing efficiently.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years in housing advocacy, and knowledge of HUD/DOH programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MSW/MPA) preferred.
  • 3–5 years in housing advocacy, rapid rehousing, or domestic violence services, with 1–2 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of HUD/DOH housing programs, Fair Housing laws, CAN framework.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative & Operations: manage calendar, scheduling, inquiries, and routing urgent matters.
  • Client & Program Support: enrollment, intake, waitlist updates, and rent requests.
  • Data & Documentation: maintain charts, upload to Jotform/SharePoint, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Training & Development: attend housing trainings and maintain DV certification.
