Job summary

Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency is seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee program integrity for the Housing Choice Voucher program and related housing initiatives. You will investigate fraud indicators, gather evidence, and coordinate with internal departments and HUD to ensure compliance and proper housing assistance.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of HUD rules, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) administration, affordable housing, program integrity, compliance, quality assurance, investigations, auditing, or program analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development, implementation, and administration of program integrity initiatives, policies, procedures, and operational activities for the HCV and other housing programs.
• Conduct investigations involving fraud, waste, abuse, and regulatory non-compliance; gather, analyze, document evidence and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct home visits to evaluate reasonable accommodation requests per laws and agency policies.
• Review complex participant/owner cases and provide recommendations on eligibility and continued assistance.
• Research, interpret, and apply HUD regulations, PIH notices, and agency policies.
