Qualifications

• One year of Housing Choice Voucher experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and comply with HUD rules.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 250-300 households; interview, explain requirements, document, negotiate, and coordinate appointments.
• Maintain program files per HUD, HCR Administrative Plan, and RUPCO requirements with high accuracy.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic, stay organized, ensure timely completion, and maintain professional phone etiquette.
• Respect confidentiality of federal housing programs and related data.
• Conduct housing inspections for HUD Housing Quality Standards compliance.
• Conduct initial eligibility interviews and present program briefings per HUD requirements.
• Perform annual recertifications in office or in-home as needed.
• Attend trainings to stay current on state and federal programs and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and provide administrative support to the HCV Program Supervisor.
