Job summary

HomeFirst is seeking an individual to support unhoused individuals through their Emergency Interim Housing program in San Jose. This role involves direct service, supervision, and implementing program guidelines to ensure the care and safety of participants.

Qualified candidates will have an AA degree or two years of field experience in social services, and be sensitive to the needs of the unhoused. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, highlighting HomeFirst's commitment to its employees.

Qualifications

• Sensitivity to the needs of unhoused individuals.
• Experience working with the unhoused population.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the care and supervision of program participants.
• Implement and enforce EIH guidelines and site rules.
• Work with participants to execute their personalized housing plan.
• Conduct business in accordance with the employee handbook.

Skills

Education

AA degree (or equivalent of two years of higher education)
