Job summary

City of Eureka is seeking a program supervisor for the UPLIFT initiative within CAPE. You will oversee housing assistance, employment programming, outreach and resource navigation, guiding staff and volunteers to empower participants toward housing stability.

Responsibilities include planning stabilization plans, providing trauma-informed services, coordinating with partner agencies, and maintaining program records while ensuring safety and compliance. Evening/weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the 12th grade, with college coursework in social services or related field.
• Three years in social services with frequent public contact, including lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate the UPLIFT program and staff activities.
• Organize daily events and schedules, supervise volunteers, and monitor program activities.
• Foster positive relationships with participants and community partners; advocate for those experiencing homelessness.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing guidelines; maintain required records.
