Job summary

Qualifications

• 1. High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2. Supervisory experience preferred.
• 3. Minimum of two years experience in office management and/or building maintenance.
• 4. Associate’s Degree in business administration, finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• 6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 7. Customer Service oriented focus.
• 8. Basic building maintenance skills: carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical repair, furniture refinishing, carpeting and sheet vinyl replacement.
• 9. Knowledge of cleaning processes and odor mitigation.
• 10. Ability to calculate bill of materials and obtain quotes.
• 11. Ability to work independently without supervision.
• 12. Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• 1. Plans, prioritizes, and coordinates Housing department activities.
• 2. Tracks and manages housing assignments and occupancies.
• 3. Coordinates with IHS to update QMIS and determine rental rates.
• 4. Develops departmental budget submissions to align with strategy.
• 5. Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, grant terms, and policies; seeks revenue improvements.
• 6. Provides technical advice and resources for housing maintenance.
• 7. Develops scope of work for large-scale building improvements with Projects Department.
• 8. Supervises and assists with repairs and installations of flooring, drywall, fixtures, cabinets, and appliances.
• 9. Interprets and applies housing rules per policy and handbook.
• 10. Maintains records and prepares reports on staff schedules, work orders, energy use, and costs.
