Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska is seeking a Housing Services Specialist to support inspections and maintenance tasks under the Housing Services Manager. You will enter units, inspect heating, lighting, sanitary facilities, and ensure safe passageways; review tenant files and prepare reports; and follow up on violations with renters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate interdepartmentally and independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect corporate owned units for maintenance, safety, and compliance.
• Enter units and inspect heating, lighting, ventilating, and sanitary facilities.
• Review tenant files and prepare reports summarizing findings.
• Submit written reports and recommend improvements to safety and comfort.
• Follow up on violations to ensure corrective actions by renters.
