Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of safety practices, tools, equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance of buildings. Skills in making emergency and general repairs and adjustments to equipment used in building and maintenance work. Ability to perform heavy manual labor.

Job Duties Job Duty Performs maintenance and repair tasks in such areas as carpentry, masonry, electrical, and plumbing. Maintains equipment used in all parts of job. Works through work order system to complete orders as assigned. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty Troubleshoot and performs minor repairs on appliances, such as washer/dryer, kitchen appliances. Replaces as necessary. Repairs plumbing as needed including toilets, shower heads, and kitchen fixtures. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty Performs minor repairs to exterior finishes and interior walls, floors as needed. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 10 Job Duty Responds to emergency repairs to provide protection of building and safety of students.
