Job summary

Downtown Women’s Center seeks a full-time Case Manager – Housing to provide intensive, culturally responsive case management for unhoused women in Skid Row. You will perform housing navigation, assessments, service planning, and linkage to health, benefits, and community resources.

This role emphasizes Housing First and Rapid Re-Housing models, collaboration with city partners, and reporting to the Housing Justice Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Experience in homeless services and familiarity with Skid Row strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Housing First and rapid rehousing principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally responsive field-based case management services to unhoused women to secure housing.
• Engage clients, build caseload, and establish housing linkages and placements using Housing First/RRH models.
• Coordinate with service providers for health, mental health, substance abuse, employment, and benefits.
• Assist newly housed clients in connecting with community resources and supports.
• Conduct assessments, develop individual service plans, and document activities and outcomes.
• Report to the Housing Justice Program Supervisor and participate in supervision and trainings.
