Primavera Foundation in Tucson seeks an Intake Specialist for the HIP drop-in center to help participants access housing solutions. You will conduct intake interviews, complete housing assessments, and refer clients to shelter and services.

The role emphasizes compassionate, confidential service, data accuracy in HMIS, collaboration with partners, and ongoing training to expand housing resources for low-income individuals and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of professional social services experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with client data and referral tracking systems.

Responsabilités

• Conduct housing assessments in person and by phone with accurate referrals.
• Complete intake interviews for ES housing programs and paperwork.
• Create and maintain HMIS records and case notes with high accuracy.
• Refer participants to eligible housing services and shelters.
• Participate in meetings and trainings and coordinate with partners.
• Cross-train with ES staff to ensure daily operations coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of shelter resources and confidentiality policies.
