Job summary

Heartland Family Service is seeking a Housing Inspector Landlord Engagement Specialist to join our Housing and Supportive Services team. You will conduct housing quality inspections, build landlord relationships, and assist participants in leasing approved units across Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie Counties.

The role requires daily decision making, travel using a personal vehicle, and a schedule of 37.5 hours per week with compensation between $17.94 and $21.40 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Public contact and scheduling experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to landlords and property managers to recruit landlords for the program.
• Negotiate leases and help participants obtain housing.
• Maintain regular contact with landlords and update eligibility information.
