Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of relevant experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and/or vocational/technical training.
• Valid Florida Driver's License - Class E
• Experience in building maintenance operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general maintenance operations in occupied facilities ensuring timely service requests and minimal resident disruption.
• Plans, directs, and evaluates maintenance activities including repair, renovation, and alteration of building systems and equipment.
• Manages workload, assigns work orders, and coordinates materials and labor for projects.
• Develops and monitors preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure proper operation of building systems.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, fire and life safety codes).
• Performs emergency maintenance tasks and may be required to work during university closings.
