Job summary

Comprehensive Life Resources in Tacoma, WA seeks an Employment Specialist to join the Housing team. You will conduct community-based case management to help clients overcome barriers to employment, build relationships with employers, and provide job development and vocational support.

The role requires a highschool diploma or GED, with a preference for a Bachelor's in social services and 1+ years in human services. Full-time, daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services preferred.
• 1+ years' experience in human services or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Engages clients to establish trusting relationships toward competitive employment.
• Assist clients with understanding benefits and making informed employment choices.
• Develop individual employment/education plans and coordinate with treatment teams.
• Provide follow-along support to help clients maintain employment.
• Connect clients with internal and external supports and services.
