Compensation: $24.81/ hour ($51,596.82 annually) - $30.51/ hour ($63,457.28 annually).
*Starting wage for position will be $24.81 per hour

Under the direction of the Housing Development Director, the Housing Development Specialist is to support renovation and new development projects. This included helping with project planning, project inspections, tracking budgets and schedules, and assisting with funding applications and loan closings. The role may involve coordinating staff and consultants who contribute technical or professional work to assigned projects. The Housing Development Specialist also works with other departments and outside agencies and provides general administrative support to keep projects running smoothly.

Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid New Mexico driver's license upon appointment. Must have and maintain an Albuquerque Housing Authority insurable driving record.
Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures and technical manuals. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, contractors, supervisors, co- workers, residents, and city/county agencies.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Driving and reliable transportation are requirements of this position
