Job summary

Fresno Housing Authority is seeking a professional to provide technical and analytical support across planning and development activities, coordinating with architects and consultants on entitlements, plan checks, permits, and exploring real estate investments for feasibility.

The role involves preparing financial/narrative reports, grant applications, bid documents, RFPs, and operation procedures, while implementing Supplier Diversity initiatives and conducting site visits to advance community

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with two years of related experience.
  • Experience in real estate development, finance or urban planning.
  • Experience with grant writing, budget management, and financial analysis.
  • Background in municipal engineering, construction, or administrative work.
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid California Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and development phases including support with project design and coordination with architect/consultants on entitlements, plan checks and permits.
  • Identify potential real estate investments to determine feasibility and perform due diligence.
  • Prepare financial and narrative reports, grant applications, bid documents, RFPs and operation procedures/guidelines.
  • Implement Supplier Diversity program initiatives focusing on small, minority-owned and women-owned enterprises; conduct site visits.
